The uncertain life ahead of the retrenched workers also seriously affect their children. The children shall be shocked by the sudden change in their life-style and to cope with such situation they need special social support besides, financial facilities for their education. BRAC shall support these children on moral ground and can involve them in the existing government education programme and can also admit them in its Non-formal Primary (NFP) schools of BRAC.

BRAC is providing the support in two facets, it is to provide education stipend of Tk.100/- to a child of class VI-X. Education loan will be offered at a 10% interest rate for smooth continuation of education of these children.
